The new high specification state of the art community facilities were completed at the end of August 2016 in time for the new classes in September. This allows an institution which has been turning out significant numbers of fluent Irish speakers for more than eighty years to continue to do so for decades longer. Already hundreds have been signing up for classes each September since reopening their new facilities. The Cumann Chluain Ard has a long history of dedicated volunteers who pride themselves in running a facility where Irish language comes first. They now have an iconic learning institution in the heart of West Belfast’s Gaeltacht Quarter. Various levels of Irish classes for adults each week with Irish classes for GCSE, A Level & Degree students.
